Profundity thy name is Pietersen

Pietersen explaining his yesterday’s brain fade away:
"When you get out you are out," he said. "There is nothing you can do about it.
Right my dear Pietersen, undoubtedly when you are out you are out and there is no two ways about it. Needless to add, when it comes to profundity, you almost match my friend 'proper' Niranjan Shah.

Whatever be the thing, I think I like the guy. A true maverick among mediocres. Keep it up KP:)

Perish the thought Pan. No one can unseat Niranjan Shah.

HIS DISMISSAL MERELY SHOWED THE DAMAGE THE LIMITED VERSION T 20 CAN DO TO A BATSMAN . HE PLAYED A SCHOOL BOY STROKE WHEN THE TEAM WAS WELL PLACED.

Som,

I own up to the fact that I too have a sneaking admiration for Pietersen.:)

Lviss,

I see your antipathy to Twenty20 is still going strong. :)

NC,

Yeah! the man in the mirror.:)

IF YOU SEE THE WAY HE DISMISSED HIMSELF YOU WILL AGREE, THE BOWLER PLAYED NO PART IN IT. IT WAS A GIFT.
THE STROKE WAS PLAYED WHEN THEY WERE NOT CHASING ANY TIME BOUND TARGET . THE TEAM WAS COMFORTABLY PLACED AND THEY COULD HAVE ADDED MANY MORE RUNS. NOW LOOK AT THE REPLY OF THE AUSTRALIANS. 435 LOOKS MINIATURE.
BY ALL ACCOUNTS IT WAS A SCHOOL BOY ( ONE NOTCH LESS THAT T20) STROKE.

I agree it was unnecessary and probably childish.
It certainly stopped England from posting a huge total.

IF ENGLAND LOSES THIS TEST THE CREDIT SHOULD GO TO HIM. HE SHOULD BE DROPPED FOR THE NEXT TEST . AS NAKED CRICKET SAID THE SWITCH HIT DISMISSAL MAY FOLLOW IN THE SECOND INNINGS.
I HAVE NO QUARREL WITH T 20 EXCEPT THAT STROKES GET INTERCHANGED IN THE THREE FORMATS. THE T20 IS LEAVING ITS MARK IN THE OTHER TWO FORMS .
