Rohit Sharma has already played for India in the Twenty20 as well as in the ODI's.
However, I consider him good enough to play Test cricket. He has the potential to replace Dravid.
It will back to Harbahjans and Sreeesanths.Venugopal Rao is a big no coz he is old. Dinda .Parthiv Patel may be considered. Balaji bowling like a horse with a broken leg will be discarded.Frankly I dont see any of the Tnadu players geting a chance.THe system ensures a kind of continuity which was once described by a Tnadu player sometime back. IF u can recall that all theplayers in ur list will go to where they came from.

Gony could be a lucky guy but the most deserving i think is Diwan and Dinda or Asnodkar coz he has palyed intl bowlers as opener
