Muthiah Muralitharan injuries appear to have persuaded him to retire from Tests. Continuing the present trend, he will continue playing in the ODI’s and Twenty20 games.
As a leading wicket taker in Tests and ODI’s the world is sure to fete him for his accomplishments.
However, to the Australians, he is and always will remain the ‘chucker.
In fact one of the leading Australian dailies has announced his retirement by headlining it as ‘Murali to Chuck it in’.
It is plainly obvious they are unwilling to forgive and will use every opportunity to rub it in.
