Mohammad Yousuf, the Pakistan batsman, says the attitude of PCB officials and Pakistan captain Shoaib Malik, made him move to ICL and the money on offer did not sway his decision.
I wonder why it sounds hollow.

Tracking his current preference is a full time task :)
I doubt whether he will play. PCB is suing him for legal expenses. This could make him untouchable at ICL too.
I read all his quotes... hollow as a broken drum.
Sorry, Ottayan, but i think he's telling the truth.
he appears to be a guy who loves power more than money; and when he was denied those by PCB, he felt cheated.
There is no truth Bisht to invoke such a reaction... it is hollow.. the truth of those incidents may be trivial but he ought to handle it for someone his age and maturity.
Shoaib may not have wanted him in the 20-20 squad for very good reasons... it is pretty obvious to all. Just because Yousuf made a ruckus and had to be pacified at the last time he was not picked for the 20-20 squad, I bet the PCB tried to act cute on the Visa mistake thing instead of bluntly telling him that he may not fit the team for this format.
Could not Yousuf with all his talent choose to play all those 20-20 tournos that just happened in Pak and prove he was good for that format? Prove them wrong.
First of all I don't know whether he played! Maybe he thought he was bigger than the tournament to grace his presence.
If he did play, he certainly did not headline. Fawad Alam did! Q may be able to confirm or disagree.
His statements reeks of someone who thinks he has given Pakistan cricket everything and it is his gift and mercy that he is playing for them.
Horse crap!
If it was not for the PCB he will be yet another nobody!
They have to move on... he is too selfish of his own personal interests, which could be money, power or his ego... either way he is greedy and selfish.
Bisht,
Scorpi has said all that I wanted to say on Yousuf.
If one were to consider what Q, Wasim say then it does appear that Yousuf is never altruistic.
@ Scorpi
Thanks for the reply.
You have brought some new perspectives in the discussions.
Scorpi, I never said he is not after money; I only said he's after power more than money.
And I stick to it.
@ Ottayan
He may not be an altruist Otty, but one can still rank traits.
Thanks for bringing such an important issue in the foray of cricket discussion, after all cricket is another name for life :)
Bisht dude.. I agree with your perspective... it is not money as such but largely power indeed... but my remark was to also make myself clear on my earlier comment on its hollowness... You gave me an opportunity to voice it again since I had already in detail some time back:)... I tried to convince LOL... after all we exchange thoughts and its only a matter of debate... cheers
@ Scorpi
Right said Scorpi :)
