English dreams

It never ceases to amaze me when the English talk of regaining the Ashes with very little evidence to support it.

Here is an example:

Indian signs offer England hope of exploiting Australia’s frailties

The hard evidence:

England collapse to demoralising defeat

sometimes "English" phrases are the best - counting the chickens before they hatch :)

They did same for the Stanford money.

Is there any ban on day dreaming?

Wasim,

Certainly not. On second thoughts day dreaming about regaining the Ashes should be banned.:)

Except the English media, no one else believes that England can do anything miraculous on this trip. That includes the players themselves.

Just like i predicted about Australia, we will thrash the shit out of the English. But be prepared for a hostile English press.

Philip,

Your confidence is contagious. Lets kick the crap out of England.

Very true, Ott. But all it takes for Australia to lose a series, mints aside, is losing three tosses :) Remember the Ashes England won?

Having said that, India will do well to not underestimate England ala the way we did Sri Lanka in July.

VMM,

Your comments about the 'toss' is very close to the truth. Aussies won the toss in Banglore and gave us a scare. The other three matches we won the toss and beat them in two.

As far complacency let us hope Dhoni's level -head senses this danger.
