Yuvraj scores 172 against Sri Lankan XI

Sri Lankan XI v Indians, tour match, Colombo

Yuvraj's 121-ball 172 and with contributions from Suresh Raina and Rohit Sharma Indians piled up a  mammoth 342 for 5 against Sri Lankan XI.

Keen observers would have noted that Ajantha Mendis is not a part of this Sri Lankan XI.

Ott, Its not only Mendis. Even Murali was not there.. And India's top performer Yuvraj can't play spin.

I don't know why Badri didn't play. BTW your screen color makes hard to read..

Tri,

You are right.

Slog,

Let me know whether you find this sceeen color readable?

As for Badri, I do not think he will play this ODI. There is no place for middle-order batsmen.

There was a report that Yuvaraj had three lives during his knock which in cold term means he will be sorted out . U cannot expect the real team to give three lives.

Badri will not play. He has been temporarily restrained from airing his views or going ICL. He could have kept quiet.

R,

Exactly that what I hinted by drawing attention to the absence of Mendis.

lives or no lives, mendis or or mendis, that they scored more than the test team did in any one innings, gives me some hope.

btw, this screen color is more readable. I had a hard time as well, but thought it was my new machine:)

RS,

When you put it that way even I see hope.
