As I write, Sehwag, Gambhir, Ganguly, Parthiv and Tendulkar are out. Dravid is waging a battle with a rather sick looking Laxman for company.
Though they say hope springs eternal, the situation is dire.
Only an ‘M’ - miracle can save India.

A Dravid-VVS long partnership is the only hope. Does that happen more than once in a lifetime? (especially when they are struggling - Dravid though looked a little better this innings)
That is something to hope for.
Nonetheless,I still do not understand why we need to bank on just one pair of batsmen.
There was only 1 miracle in Indian cricket when these two were around... history shows that the same miracle doesn't happen twice... not even with jesus... India is canned and dusted.
A ordinary seam bowler cuts them through.. they have to be culled.

shame that ishant may not be fully fit for his gilliesque fwd defence. for me, he's been the only batsman with any purpose.
