An ICC press release reveals, “The International Cricket Council (ICC) president David Morgan has called a meeting of the ICC Board for Wednesday, August 6, to discuss implications of the timing of the Champions League T20 tournament. The meeting will take place by telephone hook-up.”
The agenda ostensibly is to punish the organizers of the Champions League for scheduling the Champions League a day after the Champions Trophy.
One doubts whether the ICC will do anything drastic. It appears that the organizers of the Champions League are holding out to negotiate better with ICC or one of its constituents.
What do you think will happen?

My guess is Champions league will be pushed by a couple of days (double matches on some days). If not ESPN will check out legal options.
I think Hussey and Hayden will be playing their practice match and not for CSK - I think CA decided that?

It is a possibility. However, Modi and his CA cohorts are not backing down. They want something from the ICC.
I think Hussey and Hayden will play some matches for CSK.
after the closed door negotiations with ICC both parties will announce:
"in the interest of game we have decided to postpone CL by n days...hussey and hayden have decided to play for CSK..."
Absolutely, Pan, everyone is eager to sacrifice in the interest of the game.
Whoever pays the ICC higher to keep their trap shut will prevail.
