Flintoff's return to International cricket is being considered as a panacea to the ills that bedevills English cricket.
If one were to take what Flintoff himself has to say about his comeback at face value, it appears unjustified.
"I don't think I'm at my best but I'm going in the right direction and showing signs of that," said Flintoff, who believes he can get even better than he was.
Bloody reassuring words! Nevertheless, is it enough to merit a recall?

@Ott, that picture is catchy!
As for Flintoff, I watched a Lancashire vs. Middlesex (?) game a week ago and he didn't look to be in great form, esp in the bowling. Perhaps my expectations were too high, and that maybe it was Middlesex player Dawid Malan's day and not Flintoff's.
VMM,
Precisely. His performance has been average and doubt whether any other players would merit a recall.
BTW, the pic got your attention? :)
Flintoffs presence may boost the teams confi. IT is a risk worth taking.
@Ott, yes, it made me read what you had to say abt it. :)
