Test World Championships fails to excite Ponting

For once I am in complete agreement with Ponting.

He is not too excited about the idea of the Test World Championship.

"You're playing for a trophy every series you play," Ponting said. "It doesn't matter if it's at the end of two or three or four years, there are trophies on the line every series. We've got to look at other smaller ways."

Ah! The small ways confounds everyone.

Do you agree with him?

I'm actually ambivalent on this, Ottayan. I'm not sure it's a bad idea, yet, it's not a great idea. Its probably a nothing idea. :) I don't think we need to change anything in Test cricket - it isn't broken yet.

VMM,

I agree, there is no change required. The administrators are crying wolf. Thats it.
