For starters, I like the one said by Afridi (cheerleaders are a distraction), it by far the best and the most original excuse someone has come up with in IPL.

i dont know about others but biggest excuse of century, for me, would be cricketers appealing excessive cricket...
have anybody heard any player mentioning excessive cricket now with almost daily match so much of traveling...'home' and 'away' matched in IPL??

The message is for the team owner.I think the team has by their silence authorised Kumble to talk on behalf of them.OR the team as a bunch are ready to quit.
