The idea, is to illuminate the backdrop behind the bowler's arm, a reversal of the white ball/black screen idea, which is now standard in one-day cricket.
What do you think of this bright idea? Will it not be better to play under floodlights instead?

hmm... won't the bulbs break or have they taken it that none of the english players can play straight anyway.

This is a serious suggestion. About the English players I refuse to incriminate myself:)
Dont start it in Eden gardens here.May not work.
Pink or illuminated...as long as either or both prove able, I think adoption is worthwhile.

Pink ball will help the fielders also. As said maybe a combination of both.
