Cricket is for fools

Apparently, any fool can follow cricket rules.

According to a Learning and Skills Council research, “Football fans need graduate-level reading skills to understand the offside rule, but cricket regulations are far easier, research found”.

If the rules are simple, why do cricketers misbehave?

Thats funny cos no matter how well versed u r in the game, try explaining it to someone who doesn't understand cricket (e.g. and American) and it will take u ages to explain everything. And there will be this dum expression on their faces and they'll keep repeating and asking questions.

But then thats the case when u try explaining anything to Americans.

Q,

Americans are comfortable using an Instructions manual. Maybe we should write one. A virgin market? :)

There's nothing virgin about America and I'm doubtful of their abilities to understand an instruction manual. I think they hold special neighborhood classes to go through such manuals whenever someone gets a new electrical device.

dumb?

Becoz the cricketers read rules only when they become captains which means at any point of time not more than two or three know the rules in the team. Thats why they repeat the same unruly behaviour .
Incidentally off side rule in foot ball is no great shakes unlike the duckwortrh lewis method.

Obviously the research guys havent seen the ICC copy of the rules.. Even Mike Proctor could not get his head around that one.. And he played cricket :)

Cheers

Americans cannot understand anything abt anything. Just read what Bush and Rice said abt the cause for food shortage.
