Though Pathan and Pragyan Ojha have merited a selection, it is inconceivable how players like Venugopala Rao and Badrinath are repeatedly ignored despite consistent performance.
Along with them poor Gony, who is revelation in the IPL,misses out maybe due to his allegiance with Chennai Super Kings.

there will always be some player left as they can select only 15 players...working under this limitation...i think selector have done fairly good job...
both new selections are inspiring and i really hope that specially ojha doesn't end up warming bench over there...

Squad seems almost boring enough to not watch the games. Not sure Yusuf Pathan or Praveen Kumar deserve a spot. RP has been lacklustre of late. The lesser said abt Uthappa, the better.
I too was hoping for Badrinath, Venugopal Rao, and was rather surprized that Gony wasn't included. But I was also hoping for either Ganguly or Dravid (but knew that wouldn't happen :( )
Dhoni would prefer people fresh from the prams. How can vg rao think of coming in. Actually those not selected will heave a sigh of relief and thank the selectors for sparing them.They already had enough of matches and dough to last upto 2009

I expected Ganguly to make it. Don't worry, history suggests after one high, Indian cricket will sink to a new low.
