I assumed that Shoaib has cooked his own goose by making ill-considered statements on GeoTV.
However, he seemd to have bowled the ACSU neck and crop.

Scorpi he would have been banned had he maintained his statement that he was offered in 2003. But as Ott has pointed out Shoaib said he was offered in 1998 and 1999 - thus the ICC cannot ban him for not reporting as these laws did not exist then, niether did the ACU.
To answer your question Ott - Totally! his best reverse swinger. I can't believe though that the ICC or the ACU will take this lying down - surely they would know that he's changing statement just to save his @$$...
