ICC officials in Pak to question Akhtar

The noose tightens:

PTI reports that two officers of the ICC's Anti-Corruption Unit (ACU) are in the country to question banned pacer Shaoib Akhtar on his claims of being approached by match fixers during tours of India and South Africa.

It will be interesting to watch how Shoaib Akthar will back his tall claims.

Scorpi,
It will be pushed under the carpet, with none the wiser.

They have already questioned Shoaib, Younis Khan, and Umar Gul..they're keeping mum over what has been said but it cant be pushed under the carper... the ICC regulations say that any player who fails to report offers to under perform can be banned for 1 to 5 years... so more problems for Shoaib..

Q,
It would mean problems for Gul and Younis. Remember my witch hunt post?

I still dont see why Younis and Gul were questioned when it should have been the captain, coach, manager, etc...

Ive seen reports about expensive gifts given to Younis and Gul on their tour to India..

I wonder how this will all unfold..
