The Pakistan selectors are to meet tomorrow to select 15-member cricket team for the ICC Champions Trophy commencing in South Africa on September 23.
Though the Iqbal Qasim-led selection committee has reservations over the selection of players like Mohammad Yusuf, Shoaib Malik and Misbah-ul-Haq due to their poor show in Sri Lanka, the selection committee is inclined to listen to feedback from Coach Intikhab Alam and Captain Younus Khan.
Pakistan cricket chief selector Iqbal Qasim has virtually ruled out the possibility of fast bowler Shoaib Akthar's entry in the ICC Champion's Trophy through a wild card. He was, however positive about Asif's fitness and appears certain to include him in the squad.

in any case if they are planning to have asif in the team...that rules out akhtar... ;-)
If Aasif get selected then his work is to provide sharpness to Pakistan's bowling attack.
They kicked out Razzaq... Only in Pakistan... Jeez.
