Like every other cricketer, Amit Mishra wants to be successful in the shorter format of cricket.
As a first step, he is hopeful that his selection as one of the 30 probable’s for the ICC Champion Trophy will help establish his reputation in all formats of the game.
Undoubtedly, his performance in the recently concluded Emerging Players Trophy in Australia, where he was the 2nd highest wicket taker stands him in good steed.
However, is his ODI Comeback 2.0 expectation realistic?

I think it will be very difficult for him to get into the ODI playing eleven coz already Harbhajan is a sure pick as the primary spinner and there will be very rare occasions when India plays a one day match with 2 front line spinners.
More than that he wants to be in the squad for the Twenty20 games.
AM is a test bowler.......and as Baiju said unless bhaji gets injured it's all a no show for AM.
Poshin, then you suggest that AM has no hope? :)
NOT ONLY MISHRA EVERY PLAYER WOULD LIKE TO SHINE IN SHORTER FORMAT FOR OBVIOUS REASONS. THE LONGER FORMAT IS NOT A LONG TERM INVESTMENT AS OF NOW.
So shorter format is the long term investment.
