If you wondered why he has desisted from offering his services to Pakistani cricket, he says PCB is ignoring him.
The sudden flurry of press briefings, unsolicited advice and offers to help appears strange and dare say unbecoming.
Overall, one gets the impression that he is making himself visible to make money.
Which makes us wonder where has the loot he made as a cricketer gone?
Has he fallen prey to Pakistani style ‘Madoff pyramid scheme’?

I tend to disagree since I went to the press conference in Delhi and asked him the questions and asked the first few questions. Not that he started it saying on his own. He made it clear that he is too impatience, and has too many commentary commitment, to take up full-time coaching. Really sad that PCB didn't utilise his expertise while he's sought after in India.
I don' think Akram took money from Irfan Pathan or Umar Gul when he worked with them. He says, it's a duty to pass on the info to next generation players, irrespective of their nationality.
Now that you have clarified, I agree that he has no ulterior motive.
I always thought that he would make a good bowling coach for India becoz he is respected here and loves this place. U remember his team got a standing ovation in Madaras test Johnson will benefit by his advice.
