And this is what he suggests:

In my opinion they should be bowling to contain more instead of trying to take wickets all the time. We've got to learn to build up pressure here and we're not doing that.

I find his suggestion an echo of Australia’s strategy during the last tour to India.

In fact it was relabelled as ‘new age’ cricket at the start of this tour.

Sadly, Australia failed because they lacked the discipline to bowl just outside the off-stump line.

Maybe the return of Stuart Clark would see them successful.
