The man at the head of the 'racial abuse' war of words says 'I never complained'.
His clarification could be a big let down for all the vested interests who were trying to project that this Aussie was not as tough as he looks.

As I think we have all said, this basically underlines the fact that there was a massive media beat-up. Doesn't take away from the fact that it shouldn't have happened, or that the Indian authorities dropped the ball, but it is largely a storm in a teacup.
There was a gent on CNN-IBN interview the other day (didn't catch his name)who appeared to have a specific interest in this issue...one felt at times he was talking with one eye. The media certainly does its bit in creating and maintaining an atmosphere.
I did ban a particular newspaper from my household for a slew of offences (as I percieved them of course).
