Younus Khan Bargains

As expected, Younus Khan met Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Ijaz Butt to discuss his resignation.

As you all know Younus Khan, resigned claiming he was hurt over the match-fixing allegations.

The beauty of this resignation drama was that he made it clear as soon as he submitted his resignation that it was up to the PCB to accept or reject his resignation.

By putting the onus on PCB, Younus Khan knew that he will get some advantage to bargain and expectedly the spineless PCB has complied.

Now it is just a matter giving Younus Khan his pound of flesh for him to get over his feeling of hurt.
