Sri Lanka coasts to victory.

Sri Lanka beat Pakistan by 6 wickets to register their 2 victory in this 5 match ODI series.

Having won the toss Sri Lanka made short work of the Pakistani batting line up, by dismissing them for 168.

Put into bat, Pakistan was tottering almost immediately. Thilan Thushara rattled the top order by claiming 3 wickets. Murali capitalized on Tushara’s hard work and captured 2 wickets to reduce Pakistan.

A painstaking 23 off 73 balls from their captain Younis Khan held Pakistan together. Yet it was left to Mohammad Aamer and Saeed Ajmal to steer the side past 150 and the innings finally folded at 168.

As expected Sri Lanka coasted to an easy win but some early wickets, two in one over of Abdul Razaack created an artificial drama.

Chamara Kapugedera steadied the chase with a half century and along with Samaraweera saw Sri Lanka coast to a victory.

Sri Lanka is now up 2-0 in this 5 match IDI series.

Pakistan is not going to end their wretched run unless they are going to get the right composition for their batting.I don't understand why they are not playing Imran Nazir at the top.

Baiju,

There are rumors of match-fixing doing the rounds.
