Though there is a widespread belief that the county fixtures have to be sacrificed in order to stage IPL during April-May, Glen Delve, the Rose Bowl plc managing director thinks otherwise.
"We would be keen to stage some games. We’ve had a look at our early-season home fixture list, and there are large gaps which could be filled."
Obviously, ‘the county fixtures’ excuse trotted out by other counties is just that, an excuse.If Hampshire does get the opportunity to stage the DLF IPL, the county is in for a new kind of fireworks display.
