Day-night test cricket: Identify a ball first.

A CLEAVAGE FROM ANOTHER TIMEImage by fabiogis50 via Flickr
Once again, rumors about day-night Test cricket are swirling around. However, this time around it claims that the first ever day-night test cricket will be played at Lord’s when England takes on Bangladesh.

Though there is talk about colored clothing and lights, there is very little talk about the color of the ball. Avid readers of this blog will remember the trial with the pink ball and experiments with balls of other colors.

Without identifying, a suitable ball that will not only be visible but will also last 90 over’s, day-night cricket is a mere dream.

Only udders remain in test cricket. They will hear only hissing sound.

I believe they already heard it, that is why they are scampering around to juice it up. :).
