IPL – Dravid on a sticky wicket.

Reacting to some media reports the Bangalore Royal Challengers supremo Vijay Mallya made it clear that he had not yet finalised Rahul Dravid as captain of his Indian Premier League outfit.

Going by his statement, the Captain’s post is up for grabs and worse without the captains post to prop him up; Dravid may find himself warming the bench.

If Mallya’s circumspect denial is an indication of an imminent change, who do you believe will replace Dravid?

RS,

That is a possibility.

BTW, I use Firefox and have no difficulty in opening it. Maybe clearing your browsing history could help.

Looks like Dravids slip is getting the pink colour.Boucher may take over.
Gradually the teams will lose their native captains in the next few years .

NC,

I think Mallya is looking to get investors and Dravid like Laxman is an unattractive Captain.

R,

You mean Dravid's slip is showing? :)

It is like these horror flicks, where the ghost comes close to the hero, he shows the cross and the ghost flees.

The Icon status of Dravid is like the cross that will protect him from evil, until the day he loses it.

Ironically for Mallya, it was Dravid who was the only notable performer for their side and it was not anything to sing about but still.

I hope he gives mallaiyya the middle finger and goes to a rival team.

Yeah, sticky wicket indeed. I'm with Lazybug. I'd be happy if he joins another team sans the captaincy. As scorpy says, ironically, he was the only notable performer.

Btw, I'm also using firefox and it seems fine.
