While insinuations that the financial loss in the way of compensating the BCCI for the cancellation of England’s tour to India is compelling the ECB to continue it, BCCI’s views have less credence.
In fact, the BCCI Vice President Lalit Modi has assured that, in case of a cancellation the Indian cricket board would not seek compensation from its English counterpart.
Insisting money was not the issue for BCCI, Modi said, "Everybody needs to be pragmatic. If the security is possible and it is there then we should continue.
