Younis Khan puts first-class cricket over IPL

It is heartening to see such a old-world attitude from a present day cricketer.

The money on offer at the Twenty20 Champions League might be alluring but senior Pakistan batsman Younis Khan says he would still prefer to play first-class cricket in Australia if there is a clash of dates.

However the fact that he is most likely to be ignored by his team makes his attitude questionable.

how many matches yunis played in last ipl ott?

he is contracted player he will get the remuneration anyway...may be its a back end settlement with jaipur franchise that look anyway you are going to warm benches...

just an alternate thought?

Pan,

It is precisely what I am driving at. Younis Khan has no hope in hell, of playing and it is unlikely that RR would consider compensating the Australian state team to release him.

These statements are to gain brownie points with people in the establishment.

i read on some site that he had a change of heart and now would play for pak in quadrungular T20 champs in Toronto.

when ipl is played, there is no domestic cricket in australia.

Younis Khan has delayed his departure to Australia to play in Pakistan's 20-20 competition - he has a fickle mind. Says one thing today and another tomorrow.

He first said he will not play in the 20-20 competition as he was going to Australia. The next day, I wonder what convinced him.

No old world attitude there - just a fickle pathan mind.
